Premiere: Zed Bias doses Jarreau Vandal's 'Someone That You Love' with a garage touch
A perfect mixture of smooth groove and garage sounds
Short and sweet is the tagline for Jarreau Vandal's latest original, 'Someone That You Love'. Thankfully, the Amsterdam artist wastes no time to dive deep into a groove on the tune, capturing the sound in less than three minutes.
Bringing in vocalist Olivia Nelson for soulful, snappy lyrics played a big part in the original's success and also helped push the tune forward as a perfect subject for an irresistible garage treatment from Zed Bias. The UK producer handles the remix carefully, leaving the jazzy Soulection tones of Vandal's original take in tact while delicately bringing in the tinkering energy of garage, Zed Bias' signature touch.
Zed Bias' remix of 'Someone That You Love' is out on May 12.
