Premiere: Ellen Allien lifts her ‘Electric Eye’ with transcendent techno

As the release of her album ‘Nost’ inches closer, Ellen Allien reveals the enchanting and emotive track titled ‘Electric Eye’.
Throughout her career Allien’s material has mainly landed on her own BPitch Control imprint, gracing Spectral Sound early in her career. Now she takes to her label once again with her seventh solo album that will focus on ‘nostalgia’ and the scope of her career.
Using warped vocals, lucid rhythm and analogue textures, Allien delivers a heady anthem of hypnotic and captivating techno. The dancefloor is the focus on ‘Electric Eye’ and it’s one that has the ability to take over the atmosphere of any venue, demonstrating her skill at supplying dependable beats.
Look for ‘Nost’ to be released May 12, the same day Allien is set to join The Black Madonna at her XOYO residency.
