Premiere: Will Gates delivers an irresistible house groove ‘4 Tha Haterz’
With dusty atmospherics and gripping rhythm
Mysterious newcomer Will Gates steps up to supply his ‘TBS’ EP to the vinyl only imprint Whyte Numbers, which features the gritty and soulful house cut ‘4 Tha Haterz’.
Hailing from Tbilisi, Georgia, Will Gates is a fresh face in the industry as the ‘TBS’ EP is his debut release. That said, his productions tell of a talented producer, who has a knack for delivering captivating rhythms and soulful melodies revealing an emotive sound profile.
The forthcoming release serves as Will’s ode to his home town of Tbilisi, and with that ‘4 Tha Haterz’ seems to be sending a strong message. A tight bass melody carries throughout the track as bright chords and a chopped, high pitched vocal offers brilliant contrast.
The ‘TBS’ EP, which is the third release on the Blaq Numbers sub-label Whyte Numbers, is set for release at the end of July.
