Premiere: Ricardo Villalobos creates a spellbinding 11 minute odyssey

Italy has its fair share of world-conquering DJs. Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati both hail from the country but when it comes to the capital, there's one selector from Rome who's really had it on lock for the past decade.

DJ Red aka Simona Calvani has been honing her craft as an artist for years and her residency at Goa Club in Rome is heralded as one of the most important in Italy. Her releases have landed via Unpolite Records, BPitch Control and Electric Deluxe, but now she ventures to Wolfskuil Ltd, the imprint ran by Darko Esser.

"My initial contact with Darko was via email, we never met in person before. I guess this sort of thing happens quite often in this industry. I asked Darko for the release because I Like its Wolfskuil label and I felt it was the right choice for the Ep, he liked the tracks and this is how the all thing started." Says DJ Red.

The 'Raw Cacao' EP features the original track and also a remix from the man, the king, the legend, Ricardo Villalobos. Whenever a new edit drops from the maestro, you know you're in for an enchanting, extended remix and his new offering is no different.
