Premiere: Derrick May puts his mind-bending stamp on 'In Da Minor'

To call Francesco Tristano just an electronic producer would be a disservice as the pianist and composer is just as well versed in creating beautiful compositions as he is crafting dancefloor cuts.

His 'Piano, Hats & Stabs' EP on Get Physical showcased a rugged yet technical sound and his own tracks have been remixed by the likes of Ben Klock, Guti and Fumiya Tanaka. 10 years ago he released his own version of the classic 'Strings of Life' so it seems fitting that his next project will see him collaborate with the creator of the original.

Derrick May needs little introduction. A Detroit pioneer and dance music god, he will team up with Tristano on his new album 'Surface Tension' and we've got a track to premiere from the LP.

'In Da Minor' is a mind-bending, ethereal cut that combines the pair's exquisite sound to make a track fit for the floor. Listen to the track below and get lost in their vision.

'Surface Tension' will be released on November 25 via Transmat
