Premiere: Maceo Plex gets deep, dark and cosmic on ‘The Tesseract’

Barcelona based DJ and producer Maceo Plex lines up the next release on his Ellum Audio imprint with 'The Tesseract' EP, consisting of a deep, dark and cosmic title track that builds into a resounding techno ballad.

Throughout his career Maceo Plex has developed a reputation of mind-bending electronic music with releases on esteemed labels like Drumcode, Kompakt, Crosstown Rebels and M_nus. Now he returns to his own renowned label to showcase the heady motif he’s become known for in recent years.

With an array of sharp and atmospheric synths Maceo builds a suspenseful, spine-tingling production with ‘The Tesseract’. It’s tense groove lays the foundation for post-industrial textures to take over the listeners headspace, classic Maceo.

‘The Tesseract’ EP is set for release May 26.
