Premiere: Lehult co-founder Johan Kaseta goes to ‘The Erefora Land’

Hamburg label Lehult has achieved a lot since its debut release in 2014.

When we spoke to them earlier this year, they'd booked artists like Boo Williams and Shanti Celeste for their parties and had started to carve out a reputation for a youthful approach to house.

Focused on introducing the talents of its tight-knit crew, the label has only released material from its five Hamburg-based founders. Liem, Eddie Ness, DJ Assam, Lucky Charmz and Johan Kaseta have been sharing duties of running the label since it’s inception, and their collective taste has captured an audience.

Liem is best known for breakthrough hit ‘If Only’, a track that’s soundtracked Moodymann dishing out shots at Dekmantel and been championed by the likes of Kerri Chandler. Original copies of the hand-stamped white label fetch £255 on Discogs.

Fellow founder Johan Kaseta is the latest to step up, offering his first solo EP for the label. 'The Erefora Land' is the latest release representing a distinct Hamburg house sound centered on killer grooves seeped in nostalgia.

We’ve got the first play of opening track 'Lei Tindissima' which will have you pogoing to its skipping beat, funky bassline and lullaby vocals in no time. Listen to it below.
