Premiere: Ellen Allien shares her acidic, festival season roller

If there's one constant in dance music right now, it's that you can always guarantee Ellen Allien will bring the heat. Her DJ sets are an electric exercise in acid and techno and her productions have been taking over raves for more than 15 years.

Her BPitch Control label has also been responsible for some of the best releases of the last decade, with artists like Paul Kalkbrenner, Ben Klock and Modeselektor regularly appearing.

She's one of the best in the business and her new EP is one that's been a staple of her DJ sets over the festival season. We've got the first play of the incredible, highly acidic 'Landing XX' and here's what Ellen had to say about the tracks featured on her new record.

"They are as hypnotic and freaky as my DJ sets are. I used some of my favourite instruments, the 303, the 909 and the Minimoog to create two tracks full of murky, distorted vocals, strange breaks and pure drastic emotion in beat form. This record is my definition of the Allien sound."

Batten down the hatches and prepare yourself for another devastating track by Ellen Allien.

The 'Landing XX' EP will be released on November 11 via BPitch Control, preorder here
