Popof (Eats Everything remix)
Eats Everything gives a chubby rework to the French tech-house maestro
We've long been fans of Popof. The French tech-house don has been our radar after dark and sinister rollers like 'Shades', 'Toxic Love' and 'Serenity' dropped, and that's just the tip of iceberg.
He's been producing heavy-hitting cuts for nearly two decades and his latest endeavour is a new album on Hot Creations. It showcases a cleaner, more crisp sound but that doesn't mean that the production quality has faltered, far from it.
One of the tracks featured on the album will be released as a single and 'Going Back' has received some pretty hefty remixes. Luca Donzelli & Mar-T, Oxia & Miss Kittin and Lee Foss have all donned their editing caps but it's Eats Everything's rework that we're premiering today.
The big time Bristolian always has the golden touch and he's remix of 'Going Back' is another fine example of his talent as a producer. Frantic vocal cuts, thick, wonky bass thuds and intergalactic whooshes fly back and forth before a fruity main section kicks in and gets those shoulders moving. Nice work Mr Pearce.
The 'Going Back' EP feat. Arno Joey will be released on August 31 via Hot Creations
