Pioneer DJ has announced the release of its DDJ-SZ2 controller, an upgrade on the DDJ-SZ.

Built exclusively for Serato software, the new flagship four-channel controller features pitch play, key shift and key sync.

A new oscillator knob allows users to overlay noise, drop, laser or siren effects over their tracks for more texture.

It has also added Serato Flip, a tool that allows users to build custom edits on the fly using hot cues and the aluminum jog wheels have been fine tuned to respond better to scratching.

The DDJ-SZ2 is available now for €2099.
