Pioneer brings effects unit to iPad

Pioneer DJ has revealed that its RMX-1000 effects unit is now available as an iOS app for iPad.

The iPad form matches the abilities of its hardware version, enabling users to edit music and manipulate tracks from their iTunes library with an arsenal of effects to create unique sounds.

Producers will also be able to use the app in the studio due to its Audiobus and Inter-App Audio compatibility, allowing the software to be used alongside production tools like Garageband and programmable electronic instruments.

From now until November 11 you can purchase RMX-1000 for £7.99 from the App Store, after which it will rise to £14.99.
