picnic are offering East London creatives the chance to showcase their work at London day festival Someplace, Somewhere

This year’s edition of the festival is focused on giving back to the community that have been hit hard by the pandemic

picnic are offering East London creatives the chance to showcase their work at London day festival Someplace, Somewhere

London-based record label and events company picnic are offering local creatives the chance to showcase their work at their one-day London festival Someplace, Somewhere.

Someplace, Somewhere will be taking place on Saturday July 17 2021 from 12pm-10pm at Hainault Recreation Ground in Ilford.

Alongside a musical lineup that includes Francesco Del Garda, Laurine & Cecilio, Christian AB and Andy Luff, local and budding creatives will be invited to collaborate and showcase their work in the on-site festival village.

Details on how to apply for this opportunity will be made available soon on the picnic socials.

Already announced creatives taking part include a record fair put together by Wax Material, Amsterdam’s Seawolf Records, Bizarre Trax and other second hand vinyl sellers, live art installations, a pop up hair salon and independent fashion stalls.

picnic have also partnered with mental health charity Chasing the Stigma for this year’s edition of Someplace, Somewhere. They will be providing a pop up charity tent for the festival where on-site professionals will be available to offer support or just a friendly chat.
