Physical Therapy releases new track ‘Brick’ and teases long-form project

US-born, Berlin-based producer and label boss Physical Therapy has announced the release of a long-form project over the course of 2023.

Heading onto the producer’s own label, Allergy Season, the project will see the release of 12 Physical Therapy tracks throughout the year, with the first of the batch landing today.

The first offering, ‘Brick’, was released earlier today - a bright piano house cut landing with two extended versions, the ‘Breaking Mix’ a flanged-out breakbeat edit, and the ‘Driving Mix’, a stripped-back techno cut.

“Stopping by to tell ya about my new single ‘Brick’ out today on Allergy Season,” Physical Therapy said on Instagram earlier today on his latest release.

“It’s the first of 12 releases by me in different shapes and sizes coming up on the label this year. so make sure to leave some room on your ipod! xo.”

According to the producer, each of the 12 tracks set for release in 2023 are made for the “attention-span recession”, and span a plethora of “speeds and sounds”, some of which see the return of the producer’s beloved aliases.
