Jam City returns with club-focused track ‘Redd St. Turbulence’

Described as an "ode to the tension and disorientation of nightlife" features vocals from Show Me The Body’s Julian Cashwan Pratt

Jam City returns with club-focused track ‘Redd St. Turbulence’

Jam City, aka. Jack Latham has released a new single ‘Redd St. Turbulence’ featuring vocals from Julian Cashwan Pratt of US punk band Show Me The Body.

This is the first solo release from the South London producer since his 2020 album ‘Pillowland’.

The new single is said to be “an ode to the tension in the air and disorientation of nightlife confrontation” according to a press statement.

Previewing the track on his NTS radio show Earthly last month, he tweeted: “for everyone asking about this one in the EFM Radio special, here it is” with a link to the new track.

Working with a range of talent from Olivia Rodrigo to Kelela, this new single signifies his return to producing techno for his own name.

Last week, Jam City revealed his involvement in Lil Yachty’s new album ‘Let’s Start Here’ which has seen the rapper move towards the indie rock genre.

“Had the pleasure of providing: 'Pretty' 'Say Something' ...and Pillowland fans might recognise 'The Ride'” he tweeted.
