‘1+1= 11’ is said to represent “togetherness” which is set to be a running theme throughout the album.

The music video to ‘1+1= 11’ was premiered last night in Berlin with a party hosted by Gou including DJ sets from Spray, fka.m4a, and Matrefakt.

Eliasson has worked on three collaborations with Gou for this forthcoming album as well as on the album cover artwork which shows Gou in a “ring of ears”.

Eliasson shares: “Dance is transformative! It bends and reshapes our relationship with time and space. When I was a teenager, breakdancing changed my life."

"I came to realise that by moving, I could change space. I could change what I saw and what I sensed. And these experiences actually proved foundational for my later artistic work.”

Also working with Gou on the album was Puerto Rican rap artist Villano Antillano who helped as a second vocal contributor to the project.

Talking about her upcoming album Gou shares: “‘I Hear You’ is more than just my debut album. It embodies countless hours of dedication in my journey to create something timeless, and is a testament to the power of listening, to ourselves and to each other.”
