Partiboi69 releases new tongue-in-cheek cut 'Double Drop'

Partiboi69 has released his new single, 'Double Drop'.

His latest offering is relentless across its three and a half minutes, as the Australian affronts listeners with showering of jittering hi-hats, a thumping drum and a pizzicato bass melody. As it builds to a crescendo and its spoken vocal breaks from its loop, 'Double Drop' is a truly no-holds-barred offering by the producer and DJ, primed for summer.

'Double Drop' marks a return to Partiboi69's tongue-in-cheek approach to music, with his previous EP 'Call of the Void' via Running Back a more stripped-back affair in which he showcased his composing, songwriting skills and musical knowledge beyond the stereotype he is often met with. Elsewhere, Partiboi69 has recently shared a vinyl-only BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, played Panorama Bar, and taken his live show to DGTL and Movement festival.

Its accompanying video further reinforces the notorious persona that is Partiboi69, which you can check out below.
