Osgut Ton launches new sublabel A-TON
Unreleased Luke Slater business up first
Techno institution Osgut Ton has just announced the launch of new label A-TON, which it will be using as a platform to showcase a range of ambient releases that have yet to see the light of the day.
The first outing from the label is to be the first in a series of remastered, previously released and unheard archive material from none other than UK techno master Luke Slater under his The 7th Plain moniker. Originally published between ’93 and ’96, this is an LP of pure ethereal bliss that somehow still manages to sound futuristic 20 years on.
The release will be available as a double 12” LP and CD on August 5. More releases will follow in 2016 and 2017, so keep your ears to the streets.
