Last week The Weeknd was forced to postpone the opening show of his Dawn FM Tour, which was due to take place at Rogers Centre, Toronto - home of the Toronto Blue Jays, on July 8.
The tour will now officially start on July 14 at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.
The show was postponed due to “service outages impacting venue operations”, with the Toronto Blue Jays tweeting that a “new show date will be shared ASAP and tickets will be honoured.”
Doja Cat has also pulled out of the upcoming tour — having been enlisted for a support slot for several legs of the North American stint of the show. In May Doja announced she was cancelling all of her live dates to recover from tonsil surgery.
The Weeknd is also set to announce dates around the world, including in Europe, Africa, Central America, Asia and Australasia.
