Odd Parents

So here's a bit of a treat, a weird combination between funk and techno. Odd Parents are clearly confident enough to take on this slightly offkey hybrid of sounds, and they do it well. The bassline has a proper bass guitar lick to it, all stringy with a lush low frequency twang, while more traditional cosmic effects are sprinkled over the top. Organic sounding percussion adds to the warm feel of this track, ice cold cowbells and muffled cymbals combine with the funky b-line perfectly. Real nice work from the Odd Parents.
