DJ Cable feat Mez

'One Line Flows' is that latest grime single to emerge from DJ Cable's Triangulum camp and it's a scorcher. Nottingham's Mez - an MC who toured in support of Kano and Elijah & Skilliam earlier this year - attacks the beat with venom from the outset. His lyricism is fast, furious and a little strained in places, but the record certainly gives us insight into his flair on the mic, while Cable's instrumental ('Bells') also deserves credit, as sporadic bursts on gunfire and whirring breaks punctuate heavyset trap licks and eerie, iced-out melodies.
