Now anyone can pay to get co-writing credit on Prince's 'Soft And Wet'
But can you really put a price on something so priceless?
In an interesting turn of events, the co-writing credits on Prince's 'Soft And Wet' are now up for auction.
Chris Moon, a Minneapolis record producer and former owner of the studio in which Prince recorded his first solo single, is offering the percentage of his songwriting credits on the song via eBay.
Moon is offering the prized possession on a buy-it-now option for the fair price of $490,000. Those interested will also be able to place higher bids for the winning spot.
'Soft And Wet' is one of only a handful of Prince tracks that hold non-Prince artist credits and will not offer the winning bidder publishing or licensing rights.
