Nicolas Jaar, Gesaffelstein and Daft Punk help craft The Weeknd's new album
A-list artists on every track
Grammy Award winning artist The Weeknd has dropped his fourth studio album ‘My Dear Melancholy’ via his XO imprint.
The six-track project features unique collaboration efforts, along with some noteworthy production credits from a wide-spectrum of musical stalwarts. Nicolas Jaar nails down the composition for the album’s opening track ‘Call Out My Name’ while Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homen-Christo, Skrillex and Mike WiLL Made-It also receive production credits throughout the album.
The only formal collaborative feature on the album goes to French techno artist Gesaffelstein, who appears on two of the album’s tracks: ‘I Was Never There’ and ‘Hurt You’.
