New production competition from Edmwarriors is now open for entries

The annual producer-focused competition from ghost production company Edmwarriors is open for 2026, with a whopping €20,000 prize pool up for grabs.

The first round of Make It 2026 officially opened in March, inviting aspiring producers to submit their tracks in the tech house genre.

This year’s contest will be held across three rounds, with a techno contest opening for entry in April and a house round opening in May, before the selection of a grand finalist.

Make It 2026 marks the third annual contest from Edmwarriors, which launched in collaboration with Mixmag in 2024, and also marks the largest prize pool in the competition to date.

This year, €20,000 worth of prizes will be awarded to the top producers, including two Pioneer CDJ-3000X Multiplayers, one Pioneer DJM-A9 DJ Mixer, a Make It Custom Console Case and more.

While the winners of each individual round will receive €1,000 each, the grand finalist will also bag a “champion” Edmwarriors account with “exclusive high-value platform perks”.

“Make It was created to give talented producers a genuine platform to break into the industry,” a representative from Edmwarriors tells Mixmag. 

A grand finalist has now been named as Argentina's Basslovd, who takes the crown on this year's competition for his driving, drum-led house track submission.

"The past two years I've dedicated largely to ghost production and supporting other artists' projects," he says. "This year, I decided to redirect that energy back into my own work, so new music is coming."
