Copenhagen has a new nightclub, kat.4.
Based in the city's historic Old Town, the intimate new venue is run by the local collective CPH DEEP.
Opening earlier this month, kat.4’s debut night saw the likes of Stereo Express, Lean Robotti and Philip Siegrist.
The 350-capacity club is set to see Eli Nissan, Matthew Dekay and Bow Miller play at the next event on October 28.

The collective, CPH DEEP are said to have a “deep love for electronic music”.
CPH DEEP has been running events in Copenhagen for the past 10 years as a DJ and event collective.
Focusing on melodic house, techno, organic house, downtempo and “whatever lies in between”, the group runs a monthly party with IG60 and has previously hosted its own radio show.
In a statement from the collective they share: “It has long been a dream for CPH DEEP to open a more permanent place to hold events. All members of CPH DEEP have electronic music deep in their hearts and that in itself is the motivation for the whole project.”

A spokesperson from the club told Mixmag that they are hoping to bring “some of the best electronic music experiences Copenhagen has ever seen,” adding that “music is the heart of the club, beautifully surrounded by a dance floor to freak out on and sofa areas to relax in.”
They add: “We are very honoured by the opportunity to present the best electronic music in this environment right here in CPH [Copenhagen].”
