Label Kunye to hold South African showcase in London next week
The debut UK event from South Africa's Shimza and his label Kunye
South African DJ Shimza is hosting his debut UK event with his label Kunye in London next week next week.
Kunye London will run on April 8 at Hackney Wick’s Studio 9294, the event will have an all South-African line-up with artists such as Da Capo and Desiree headlining.
Shimza, whose real name is Ashley Raphala, is a Tembisa-born DJ, producer and promoter who has been leading the way for the global afro tech scene.

Kunye London is described to "connect established and unsung stars to the world, shining a light on South Africa’s colourful soundscape."
