'Music Is The Answer' for Reinier Zonneveld on new single

Dutch techno mainstay Reinier Zonneveld has announced his forthcoming album and to celebrate, shared lead single 'Music Is The Answer'.

The track is a taster for the fourth full-length release in the works from Zonneveld, set for release later this year, and is a cut which has landed itself a mainstay in his live sets for two years now.

Channelling 90s-leaning sounds, 'Music Is The Answer' is a thunderous slice of vocal techno with throbbing off-beat bass, thumping drum beats and distorted acid elements to contrast the melodic vocal.

Its breakdown channels trance sounds, before the chorus bursts into mysterious pads and floaty 303s.

“All the music in this album is completely new and most of the ideas for the tracks came while I was on the road, sometimes even during a show," Zonneveld explains on the forthcoming full-length record. "The tracks are very diverse, but all within the techno spectrum, so they can be enjoyed at home as well as if you’re rocking up a festival or club."

The musical exploration in his new album feels reminiscent of Zonneveld's early musical days, initially spent composing classical pieces. Now translated into tinkering with samplers and analogue synths through his technical live sets, the record reflects the Dutchman's technical capability whilst being high energy but also boasting a musical element for home entertainment too.

"It's like a blend of melodic music but then in a very high energetic form," the producer and DJ elaborated. "So, it's really techno, but still with a lot of energy. I think the themes, production and the sound design are a big step up from my previous work and I am really happy with how my exploration of conveying emotional communication through the means of dancefloor-suitable techno worked out.”

"This album was truly inspired by the energy I feel from the crowd while playing, so you can also feel that energy in the tracks. I believe this album is my best to date and I cannot wait to share it with my fans."
