​A ‘multi-sensory’ Daft Punk experience is heading to LA

The event takes place inside a 12,000 sq. ft dome

​A ‘multi-sensory’ Daft Punk experience is heading to LA

A special "multi-sensory" Daft Punk tribute event is making its way to Los Angeles next month across two nights on April 8 and 9.

The experience will take place in a room shaped like the duo’s iconic helmets spanning 12,000 sq. ft with 360-degree projection mapping.

The dome-shaped arena also features thousands of LEDs made bespoke for the stage, which will provide a ‘multi-sensory’ experience when inside.

“Daft Punk Pyramid Dome Experience takes you to a multi-sensory dance party meets immersive space opera inspired by the legendary duo,” reads the description for the event.

"Take in the state of the art LED Pyramid stage, stunning 360 projection mapping, and transportive musical production featuring live sets from ONE MORE TIME!”

Tribute band ONE MORE TIME! are set to play the event with ‘original narrative and live mixed musical production’, according to the event organisers.

The show will take place over two nights, April 8 and 9, kicking off at 9:PM both nights in Los Angeles’ art district at Wisdome.

“This original production is the perfect spectacle to push forward the Daft Punk legacy,” reads the event description.

Exactly one year after Daft Punk announced their split, the duo streamed a live performance from 1997 on Twitch to mark the 25th anniversary of their iconic album ‘Homework’.

The one time only stream went ahead on Twitch last month originally shot at Los Angeles’ Mayan Theater while the pair embarked on a year-long live tour around the world.
