Miles Mitchell, aka Mr. Mitch has just shared the video for his new single ‘Priority’, which features P Money.

The track explores the idea of what it means to be a father, combining Mitch’s emotionally charged production with P Money’s ode to how family is his ‘priority’.

'Priority’ is taken from Mitch’s new ‘Devout’ LP which explores “love, loyalty, family and the start and end of relationships, with an overarching theme about becoming a father.”

The video, directed by Luke Carlisle, takes a reflective look at fatherhood and features touching moments shared between fathers and their children.

In the track P Money reflects how ultimately all that matters is family: “I ain’t gotta drink or smoke to get a vibe/F being shot or stabbed, that’s a hype… Thank you for the life I’ve been blessed with.”

Mr Mitch said: “We all know the stereotype of the black dad with multiple children from multiple partners who is absent from the child’s life. We see it consistently in popular culture. I want to champion the alternative, which to me is just normal.”

‘Devout’ also features tracks with Denai Moore, Duval Timothy and Palmistry, and is out now on Planet Mu.
