Björk unveils captivating new video for ‘Notget’
"It's a play on the future and the past," says co-director Warren Du Preez
Not content with already releasing a dazzling Virtual Reality video for ‘Notget', Björk has now released a second visual accompaniment to the Arca-produced track from her 2015 album ‘Vulnicura’.
Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones helmed the direction of the video, which sees the Icelandic artist break out from a monochrome state of chrysalis and transform into a vibrant otherworldly figure, via a section of dynamic digital graphics.
Describing the work, Warren Du Preez sad: “It's bruised, dark, ominous, and mysterious, and it's a play on the future and the past with mineralistic elements. We made the decision to submerge it into almost what we almost call an inner earth or into a place that could house that decay and bruising.”
