Mount Kimbie’s Kai Campos teams up with Actress on new track 'AZD SURF'

The pair have previously collaborated on an NTS takeover and a tour

Mount Kimbie’s Kai Campos teams up with Actress on new track 'AZD SURF'

Actress and one half of Mount Kimbie, Kai Campos has released a new collaboration titled 'AZD SURF' on Ninja Tune.

This is the first time that they have collaborated together on a track, however both have performed together on Mount Kimbie’s NTS Radio takeover in 2017 as well as going on tour together in 2018.

In Kai's announcement of the track on Instagram he said that the opportunity was an "honour".

For Actress - whose real name is Darren Cunningham - this is his first release since 2020 with his album ‘Karma & Desire’.

The new single is Kai’s first solo release from Mount Kimbie however the duo are still credited on the track.

Mount Kimbie last announced music in 2021 with the double single ‘Black Stone / Blue Liquid’.

Last month, Dom Maker - the other half of Mount Kimbie - contributed their edit of 'Palaces' to Flume’s latest remix package.
