Moog’s Subharmonicon has just received a hefty new update
Firmware v1.1.0 includes bugs fixed and MIDI improvements
Moog Music have announced new updates for owners of their Subharmonicon.
Firmware v1.1.0 is providing a range of updates which include fixing bugs and new MIDI features for the semi-modular analog polyrhythmic instrument that came out in 2020.
The analog synth will now have improvements to its sequencer clock behaviour, the ability to transpose pitch from a running sequence and the MIDI CC91 will be able to be used at low, high or last note priority.

Along with this, Moog has released a collection of new educational and creative tools for people with a Subharmonicon.
The educational package teaches users how to get started with patching techniques, explore synthesis concepts, and understand patchbay in a guide titled ‘Patching with Intention’.
