August 17

Pickle Factory, London

Mixmag Live will welcome the hottest property in house music to East London’s Pickle Factory on August 17 when Mall Grab takes the booth.

With a swell of early releases showcasing his ear for melody and feel for rhythm, Aussie Jordon Alexander has been riding a wave of momentum ever since he released his debut record only two years ago.

A combination of chopped and screwed r&b samples and rugged 909 drums announced him to the world on tunes like massive underground hit ‘Can’t’ and ‘I’ve Always Liked Grime’ via labels such as Unknown To The Unknown, Hokkaido Dance Club and Church.

With his own label Steel City Dance Discs plus a host of shows through Europe at DC10, Oval Space and Pacha and appearances at festivals like Neversea, Melt and Soundwave the 23-year-old’s shine won’t wear off anytime soon.

Don’t miss the chance to catch him at London’s top all-night spot Pickle Factory on August 17. Tickets are on sale now, purchase them on DICE and keep updated via the Facebook page.
