Millions of euros in cash reportedly found in Ushuaïa and Pacha raids
The venues were searched by authorities yesterday
Spanish authorities have found millions of euros in cash stored in Ibiza venues Ushuaïa and Pacha, according to reports.
The clubs were raided yesterday (September 15) morning as part of Operation Chopin, a crackdown on tax evasion on the island, resulting in around 40 officials finding "several million Euros", according to Diario De Ibiza.
On the findings, a tax agent said: "Now we just have to verify if the amounts correspond to those declared in the companies' accounting records."
This week's raids follow €2 million being found at Amnesia in July and Space and Privilege being searched.
