The Lab NYC is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. This Friday, Mixmag welcomes Mike Servito to The Lab NYC.

Residing in Brooklyn by way of Detroit, Mike Servito has established himself as a burgeoning talent due to his unique approach to production and expert skill in the DJ booth. As resident of The Bunker NY, he’s garnered a reputation for taking the dancefloor on a journey through various forms of techno and house, using the vinyl medium with unparalleled ability. He fuses his influences from both Detroit and NYC to deliver gems that rouse any dancefloor, from festival stages like Dekmantel to the gritty warehouses in his native country. Now with a recent spotlight in Mixmag he’s proving to be in his prime with still much to look forward to.

Following his standout remix of Justin Cudmore’s ‘Crystal’ released on HNYTRX last year, a track that blew up on the club circuit with it’s infectious acid house vibe, Servito is picking up steam in 2017 with a standout collaborative remix with Cudmore for Gunnar Haslam’s recent release on The Bunker NY. All three artists will grace the decks at Brooklyn’s Good Room on April 1 as The Bunker NY hosts Marco Shuttle, Karl & Ken Meier and Patrick Russell. Purchase tickets here

Opening up The Lab NYC will be a hometown artist known as L.Sangre, the techno talent and resident of local party crew Lost Soul Enterprises.

The Lab NYC is strongly powered by Void Acoustics. Subscribe to Mixmag TV and watch Mike Servito's Lab NYC set on our official Facebook page at 8PM EST on Friday March 31.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together. Check out more from the Sound Collective here
