New Jersey-based Mike Q is a leading figure in the long-running, prominent (yet still underground) ballroom and vogue-house scene in the US. He is also the founder of the first ballroom-orientated record label, ‘Qween Beat’.
Through high energy, sensual, high synth music, Mike Q has helped create a community for the queer underground.
He and his Qween Beat label presently hold a monthly party/ball in Brooklyn called "House Of Vogue", which provides a safe environment for the culture.
Over his successful career has seen perform for, collaborate with and gain the attention of some large names internationally including Red Bull, Mercedes Benz and the NY Auto Show, Pat McGrath Labs, Frank Ocean, Bergdorf Goodman, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott and more.
MikeQ is also set to appear on film as the DJ on HBO Max’s ‘Legendary’.
