Mikal

Dubbed the "silent assassin" of the Headz camp, Mikal has been underground for what feels like an ice age perfecting his debut – and it's a true expedition through the dark-light borderlands of dub-infused tech-roller craft.

From experimental staccato bassweight ('At The Controls' feat Xtrah) through sinewy industrial heft ('Segunda' feat RIOT, 'The Ruff Life') via moments of rareified glacial beauty ('Help Me'), plus collabs with Break and Chimpo to boot, this is pristine, sharp, cold, creative d'n'b of the highest order.
