Michel Cleis & Klement Bonelli
Here it is, the track of the summer
Every year one track defines the Ibiza season. Last summer it was 'Pushin On' by Oliver $ and Jimi Jules, the year before that it was the Caribbean-inspired 'Finder' by Ninetoes. This year, we've got a new contender.
Already being tipped as the sound of the summer, 'Marvinello' by Michel Cleis & Klement Bonell has been tearing up both the terraces and the Shazam charts since it started filtering into people's sets.
Using the classic Marvin Gaye lyrics from 'Got To Give It Up', this tribal roller first surfaced last summer as a white label but now it's turning into an absolute mammoth.
Everyone from Agoria to Laurent Garnier, all the way to Groove Armada and Gilles Peterson, everyone's dropping this track and we've got the premiere.
Sharp percussion, a thumping groove and just the right amount of sing-a-long sensibility have made this into a instant winner. Check it and get your bump on.
Marvinello is out now via Rebirth Records
