Mark Flash fiercely defends UR x Carhartt collab
“Those of you yakking on about selling out can suck the shit outta my ass!”
Detroit DJ and Underground Resistance affiliate Mark Flash has defended the techno pioneers’ collaboration with fashion brand Carhartt WIP.
Writing on Facebook, Flash defended Carhartt’s working class credentials and saying he could "almost guarantee" that UR leader Mike Banks would be wearing the brand at the time of writing.
The collaboration, which was announced last week, was praised by some fans but also criticized by others who felt Underground Resistance were betraying their anti-commercial roots.
The Carhartt brand is based in Michigan but it’s off-shoot, Carhartt WIP, has its headquarters in Germany.
