Marco Faraone in The Lab NYC

The Lab New York is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. This Friday, we will be getting down with Marco Faraone ahead of his headline performance at Flash Factory.

Faraone made his rounds across Italy for years as a top resident DJ before his talents took him to the rest of the world. Since starting his career, the Italian music tastemaker has shared the stage with Loco Dice, Ricardo Villalobos, Dixon and more. Marco's dark, technical sound has been highly regarded on Drumcode and he's also seen releases on Ovum and Desolat.

With growing popularity and talent, Faraone recently decided to launch his own label, Uncage Music. The new imprint will launch this November with remixes of Radio Slave and his new 'Rotaryknobs' EP.

Shahar joins The Lab NYC on warm-up duties this Friday. A name easily recognizable in the NYC music scene, Shahar has performed at just about every one of the city's major clubs and festivals like Time Warp and Electric Zoo. On July 4 weekend, the techno producer will be sharing the stage with icons like Ben Klock, Pan-Pot and Chris Leibing at HYTE NYC.
