The incident reportedly took place on Saturday night shortly after the suspect was said to have been rejected
A man in Berlin is suspected of driving a car into the entry of Lichtenburg nightclub Sisyphos after he was denied entry, Berliner Zeitung reports.
Although few details are currently known about the incident, Berliner Zeitung reports that the suspect is thought to have been rejected entry into the nightclub at around 5:50AM on Sunday morning.
Two security guards were said to have turned him away, which he “politely acknowledged” at first before leaving peacefully, according to the publication.

After leaving, the suspect is thought to have returned in a rented Audi car before “deliberately” driving into the gated entryway of the club. Berliner Zeitung reports that he attempted this twice.
Both security guards were allegedly targeted as the suspect drove in their direction one after another, but both managed to move out of the way just in time. No one was injured.
According to the Berliner Zeitung, the man then drove into the wall of the nightclub before reversing into Sisyphos’ famous gate, then fleeing toward Ostkreuz.
