Magda & NYMA (DTR)

This year Magda gave us two stellar sets that invited us into her world of hard-hitting house and techno. The first was a perfectly-executed In Session mix that featured tracks from Roman Flügel, Model 500, Voight & Voight and Mike Shannon.

The second was a recording of her performance at Fact's 5th Birthday in Barcelona, a set that defined the party and also her highly-danceable sound. Basically she's one of our favourites and now she's returning to her DTR series with NYMA, something we're very excited about.

For the fifth instalment of the Define The Relationship, Magda and NYMA have reconstructed four classic YELLO tracks from four different albums. Although the tweaks and changes may be subtle, they've kept the original grooves and added in elements to enhance the track's overall feel.

We've got an exclusive free download from the compilation, that comes out very soon, and the rework of 'No More Words' is a funk-fuelled odyssey. Slick guitar licks, robotic 80's riffs and a killer progression, this is the perfect, if not super nostalgic introduction to the next DTR selection.
