Next Friday, March 11, East London’s Space 289 is set to host a fundraiser event in support of Ukraine where 100% of profits will go toward charitable groups.

The fundraising club night currently boasts a line-up including all electronic acts such as techno and noise duo Giant Swan, DJ Bus Replacement Service, Bok Bok, and Impey b2b Sleepier.

All profits generated by tickets will go toward charity groups and humanitarian aid in Ukraine including Vostok SOS who provide food, education, and legal aid, and Ukrainian Red Cross, a charity providing crisis aid.

“We’re holding a fundraiser in support for Ukraine where 100% of ticket sales & all profits from the bar will go to Ukrainian charity groups for humanitarian aid,” Space 289 posted on Instagram.

The club night will also feature a “secret guest” from the Timedance / L.I.E.S / Hessle roster, as well as a b2b from Fakethias and Ceili.

“HUGE thank you to these amazing DJs who have waived their fees to play and the rest of the team who are volunteering towards the night,” Space 289 added.

The event will run at the East London venue in Cambridge Heath from 7:PM until 1:AM on Friday, March 11. Tickets start at £15 and can be bought for £18 on the door.

Space 289’s event follows several other charity events running in support of Ukraine over the past week. Yesterday, R3 Soundystem announced a nine-hour fundraiser club night at South London’s Venue MOT with all profits going toward Ukrainian humanitarian aid.
