Listen to ABSOLUTE.'s new track, 'Stuck In Love'
He says the release "feels like the start of a new chapter"
DJ and producer ABSOLUTE. has dropped his latest single, 'Stuck In Love'.
With a reputation for heavy rave tracks, breakbeat cuts and disco infused edits, his latest release sees the producer explore alt-pop sounds.
The tune is a candid, yet upbeat, track which dotes on the sometimes challenging realities of romance whilst foreshadowing the new sounds which we can expect from the artist looking forwards.

“'Stuck In Love' feels like the start of a new chapter for me, both scary and exciting to release something with a full original vocal," explains ABSOLUTE. "I'd been listening to a lot of Detroit electro so wanted to incorporate that rawness with some added Miami Sound Machine funk to contrast the vocal. It’s been one of my favourite records to play and make.
"It was originally written during lockdown, then after my recent tour of the US the track took on a whole new meaning when the lyrics ended up becoming my reality during my trip in LA, with art imitating life, it felt the perfect time to put this out into the world.”
The former Mixmag cover star's tour schedule shows no sign of letting up, either. Having played Glastonbury Festival, Parklife and fabric this year, a special second tour of the US is also on the cards, not forgetting his recent endeavours in the fashion sphere through conducting musical direction and soundtracking for Jack Irving LFW SS22 and Fred Perry.
