Laurel Halo and Hodge join forces on new Livity Sound EP
Tune into the pair’s peak-time offering ‘Tru’ now
Livity Sound mainstay Hodge is teaming up with Laurel Halo for a new three-track outing on the Bristolian imprint.
Described by the label as, “a record that burns with the energy and dynamics”, the 12” project came together through a series of recording sessions in Berlin.
The record will see Halo shifting her focus “ directly to the dance floor”, as it follows up her July mini-album ‘Raw Silk Uncut Wood’. Her most ambient project to date, ‘Raw Silk Uncut Wood’ landed via Paris-based label Latency.
Hodge released his last Livity Sound EP ‘No Single Thing’ back in 2017. Earlier this year he unleashed a new four-tracker titled ‘Beneath Two Moons’. The EP landed via Berceuse Heroique.
‘Tru / Opal / The Light Within You’ is scheduled for physical and digital release on November 30.
