Hackney-born talent Kojey Radical is back with a new double single featuring two highly personal cuts.
Titled ‘97’ and ‘Pure’, Kojey discussed the new offerings and the therapeutic nature of music via a press release. He states, “Although ‘97’ is about the loss of a close friend I want the song to feel like a celebration. Something we can both smoke to in heaven”, adding, “‘Pure’ is a conversation I would have with self regularly. A story of self doubt and resilience. My story.”
The new release follows up a string of weighty offerings from the talented artist. From his recent link up with MJ Cole through to his raucous cut ‘If Only’, Kojey’s dynamic sound and his unique style has set him apart on the scene as of late. And with performances lined-up this summer at the likes of Outlook, Applesap and more, this summer Kojey is set to showcase his talents across the festival circuit before headlining his very first UK and Ireland tour this November.
