Kidnap in the Lab Mumbai

Mixmag and BUDX are proud to partner on a groundbreaking new Lab destination: The Lab Mumbai.

Taking place at the intimate space of AntiSOCIAL, located in the warehouse in Todi Mill, Mumbai, The Lab Mumbai will showcase some of the world’s most exciting talents of house, techno and other electronic varieties.

On Friday, January 31, we have burgeoning London producer, Kidnap aka Matt Relton joining us for a special set to showcase his electronic specialities.

Formerly producing under the name Kidnap Kid, Relton first came into the scene with his popular 2012 release, ‘Vehl’ and further went on to release ‘Ashes EP’, ‘Ursa Minor’ and ‘Turn2U’. Last year, his career truly took off with the success of his debut album, ‘Grow’ released via Armada. The compositional album blended notes of classical and electronic music through a variety of percussion and emotive melodies in an effort to express a changing time in his life.

‘Grow’ made a space for itself on SiriusXM Chill and the Top 100 U.S. Dance chart. The track, ‘Start Again’ received radio play from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. As he continues to grow in his career, he is supported by the likes of Sasha, Paul Oakenfold and Maceo Plex.

We are excited to have him join us in the Lab Mumbai as part of his India tour. More details on the tour here.
