Kendrick Lamar calls Donald Trump a "chump" in new track ‘The Heart Part 4’
He also hints about a new album dropping in April
Kendrick Lamar has just dropped a new track called ‘The Heart Part 4’, which continues his 'The Heart' track series.
He hinted at the new single on Instagram earlier this week, by posting a Roman numeral ‘IV’ text post with no caption.
In ‘The Heart Part 4’, he tells us "Y’all got ’til April 7 to get y’all shit together", which suggests the a potential new release dropping from Lamar, and it echoes his teasing for ‘Good Kid M.A.A.D City’ on 'The Heart Part 3'.
Last month Kendrick addressed his forthcoming LP by saying: “My focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they’re doing the groundwork. 'To Pimp a Butterfly' was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore."
In the track Kendrick also fires lyrical shots at President Donald Trump. He raps: "Donald Trump is a chump, know how we feel, punk. Tell 'em that God comin'. And Russia need a replay button, y'all up to somethin'. Electoral votes look like memorial votes. But America's truth ain't ignorin' the votes."
