Kamaliza rises to the 'Zenith' of trilogy project with UKG-inspired single

Australian artist Kamaliza has released the smooth final track of his 'Z' trilogy.

The r'n'b, soul and UKG-inspired 'Zenith' follows past singles 'Zermatt' and 'Zanzibar' since the former frontman of Sydney electro-pop duo Olympic Ayres, real name Kamaliza John Salamba, began his own solo project under his first name, switching his focus to making emotive music that tells a story.

Speaking of his latest, the producer and vocalist said: “I’ve always been inspired by the UK garage scene, I have a romantic imagination as to what that would've been like in the '90s and 'Zenith' pays homage to that era.

"I needed to create something that was warm and understanding, but in a key that represented uncertainty, with lyrics that were unabashed, confident and reassuring.”

'Zenith' is out August 10. Stream it below.
