JME and The Sidemen link up on new festive track ‘Christmas Drillings’
The tongue-in-cheek Santa callout could be in the running for Christmas Number 1
JME and popular YouTube crew The Sidemen have joined forces on a brand new festive track, ‘Christmas Drillings’.
In the running for Number 1 this Chirstmas, the festive drill track saw JME link up with YouTubers KSI, TBJZL, and Vikkstar123 (JJ, Tobi, and Vik) with a budget of $100,000 to make an accompanying music video.
Produced by Nyge, ‘Christmas Drillings’ pokes fun at Santa Claus, stealing presents from kids, and more serious topics such as rising energy bills.

“My neighbours lighting up the whole street / NPower, SSE, EON, EDF Energy / Dem man dere raking in the Ps / Dumb consumers still can’t see,” raps JME on the opening verse.
Elsewhere in the track, Tobi sings “Down your spine you’ll feel a tingle when you hear this festive jingle / This one’s drill not pop like Pringle,” before KSI takes over on the track’s chorus.
Released on December 5, the music video for ‘Christmas Drillings’ has already reached a whopping 7.3 million views on YouTube, while on Spotify, the single sits just under six million listens.

The Sidemen’s four other members, Miniminter, Behzinga, Zerkaa, and W2S (Simon, Ethan, Josh, and Harry), also made a festive track titled 'This or That’ as part of the YouTube challenge with a budget of just $100. The satirical video recounts a story of Santa Claus breaking and entering.
‘Christmas Drillings’ is expected to reach number one ahead of Christmas, battling it out with The Kunts’ recent jingle titled ‘Fuck The Tories’, also hoping to become a Christmas Number One after two attempts in previous years.
In 2020, The Kunts released ‘Boris Johnson Is A Fucking Cunt’ in protest of the Conservative government, while in 2021, they returned with ‘Boris Johnson Is Still A Fucking Cunt’.
