Finn releases new track 'A Christmas Dance Record’

Finn has released a new festive track ‘A Christmas Dance Record’ with news of an upcoming album ‘No More Coal’ to drop next week.

The nine-track album sees Finn collaborate with I.JORDAN and Martyn Bootyspoon.

Speaking on the new release Finn says: “Peace & love, goodwill to all, festivity, gluttony, hedonism, sentimentalism and euphoria - these are all foundational Dance music concepts, as well as Christmas staples.

“I’ve been working on this record since August, which has been fun (if a bit weird). But I’ve been playing with the idea for some time.

“Me and I. JORDAN spend each autumn digging for 90s dance music that sounds ‘a bit Christmassy’ - it’s become a bit of a tradition over the last few years, culminating in our Joy To The World mix series.

“It’s been great fun pulling at that thread to try to make and some of my own Christmas Dance hits to add to the canon this year. Keep the change, ya filthy animals!”

This isn’t the first Christmas-themed project Finn has worked on as in 2019 he collaborated with I.JORDAN on mix of "alternative Christmas songs" titled 'Joy To The World'.

In April Finn released his debut album ‘Everything Is Alright’ via his label 2 B REAL which he said was made whilst trying “to get back in touch with what I love & cherish most about dance music.”

To celebrate the album, Finn and I. JORDAN will play a b2b set at SOUP on December 16.
